Hello, I really love the story so far. I chose to carry the weight, and the storm picked up, me and Arman couldn't see the tower, he said 'I'll follow you wherever you go', and suddenly, next screen, the scene went black. I clicked everywhere. I don't know what to do, haha.

Please help.

I'm sorry! Luckily that was the end. Although, it should definitely have put you back to the title screen. We'll take a look and get it corrected. Which platform did you play it on?

Hello, I love your game, I'm running a community on discord about story driven games, where players can feature game and get rewarded for these ! I would love to feature it there, can we connect on discord  at zerobarstudio for discuss about it ?

What a great experience! I really loved how melancholic the whole atmosphere felt. The music, the writing, everything was so well-crafted that I was immediately hooked and fully immersed. I also really liked the art style, especially how the characters' expressions could feel so hopeless at times, yet still reveal small glimpses of hope. Can’t wait to see your next projects, keep it up! ^^

With that aside, I'm currently working as a translator and assistant at the University of Tarapacá here in Chile, and we were wondering if you’d be interested in a free Spanish translation for Dead Weight. The students in the English–Spanish Translation Program are looking for an opportunity to work on a game localization project, and after playing your game, I believe this would be a great opportunity to make Dead Weight more accessible to Spanish speakers so they can enjoy this awesome game too.

If you like the idea or would like more information, feel free to send me an email at: cct.contreras@gmail.com

Thank you so much for making such a great game and have a nice day! ^^

This is beautiful. It was so immersive that I could feel the weight on my shoulders, the cold enveloping me. The writing, the art, the animation, the sound design... Everything worked so well together. Also, my first time playing a VN made with Godot and it flows amazing! Great job!

Thank you so much for the glowing review! We really appreciate you taking the time to play our game!

The writing was great and I love the pencil style art! I like the first person view too. I love the mood set by the audio, the sound design was crisp and the music was so smooth.

Love that this was done in godot too!

Thank you so much for such a positive review! We're glad you like it!

I came from the "Ultimate BL Visual Novel Game Jam" submissions page. Hi! I really love the story, art, and GUI! I was trying to piece together what Ronan was carrying with him, and had a sudden horrifying realization and I was correct! 🥲 I love that stuff. I chose to continue carrying "it" by the end.

The moving background was such an interesting addition to the VN. :3c

Than you so much for playing! We're glad you enjoyed it! It's really cool to hear that the reveal had the impact we hoped it would!

I'm not a fan of sad stories, but the art was good & the writing was fluent. This felt like reading a small novel.
